Entitlements
Online Conference pass include
- Entry to all technical program during the conference via Zoom, or other Internet Streaming.
Day passes include
- Access to all online conference agenda.
- The Special Tracks Only Package will not be eligible to access the online conference agenda.
- Entry to all scheduled activities of The Web Conference on the day(s) of registration, including Special Track and Welcome Reception.
- All lunches and coffee breaks are included.
Day passes do NOT include
- Participation to The Web Conference Banquet and Tour.
Important note for the authors
- All accepted research track papers MUST have at least ONE Regular 3- or 5-day paid registration (NOT Student registration) by February 20, 2020.
- All other accepted papers including poster, workshop, demo, etc. MUST have at least ONE Regular 1-, 3-, or 5-day paid registration (NOT Student registration) by February 20, 2020.
- Please note that the accepted paper will not be published if no registration is associated with the paper by February 21, 2020.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing via email to The Web Conference 2020 Registration Secretariat (thewebconf2020.reg@elitepco.com.tw). It should include your name, registration ID, and the request (attaching a copy of your registration receipt would be preferred). The following cancellation and refund policies will be applied:
- For accepted research track paper authors who have paid a minimum of 3-Day regular registration fee, if you switch to an online author registration on or before April 13, 2020, the conference will refund the difference of your paid registration fee and NTD $16,000 (it is approximately USD $533, and it is the accepted research track author’s online registration fee that covers basic conference cost, publication-related expenses, etc.). There is no full cancellation nor switching to the online registration for this type of registration. Moreover, this refund is not automatic, and must be requested in writing to the Secretariat on or before April 13, 2020.
- For other accepted paper authors, e.g., workshop, poster, demo, etc. who have paid a minimum of 1-Day regular registration fee, if you switch to an online author registration on or before April 13, 2020, the conference will refund the difference of your paid registration fee and NTD $10,000 (it is approximately USD $333, and it is the non-research track author’s online registration fee that covers basic conference cost, publication-related expenses, etc.). There is no full cancellation nor switching to the online registration for this type of registration. Moreover, this refund is not automatic, and must be requested in writing to the Secretariat on or before April 13, 2020.
- For other types of registration, if you switch to an online registration on or before April 13, 2020, the conference will refund the different of your paid registration fee and NTD $6,000 (it is approximately USD $200, and it is the price of the online registration fee). Otherwise, the normal cancellation policy will apply. Moreover, this refund is not automatic, and must be requested in writing to the Secretariat on or before April 13.
The Conference Organizers reserve the right to make changes without prior notice. Furthermore, all decisions made regarding to the Cancellation and Refund Policy are final.
Notes- For cancellations on or before April 6, 2020, 23:59, AoE, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. For cancellations after April 6, 2020, 23:59, AoE, no fees will be refunded.
- For payments received by credit cards, you will be refunded through the same credit card.
- All refunds will be processed after the conference.
